Roswell Chess is a nonprofit community chess organization serving Roswell, Georgia and the surrounding area. We create opportunities for people of all ages and skill levels to play, learn, compete, and connect through chess.

What We Do
Community Chess Meetups
Casual opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels to meet, play over-the-board chess, and enjoy the game together. Whether you're picking up chess for the first time or returning after years away, there's a seat at the board for you.
Chess Education
Beginner-friendly instruction, learning opportunities, and resources that help players grow. We welcome new players and help them build confidence from their very first game.
Tournaments & Events
Scholastic tournaments, community events, and other opportunities to experience over-the-board chess. Our calendar is always up to date, so players and families can find the next event and join in.
Building the Chess Community
Connecting players, families, coaches, organizers, and local partners throughout Roswell and the surrounding area, so chess in our community is easy to find and open to everyone.
