Chess Tournaments in Roswell, GA
Roswell Chess Club hosts occasional chess tournaments in Roswell, Georgia. Some are official USCF-rated events and others are unrated club tournaments. Each has an entry fee and is listed with full details on Chess67.
How our tournaments work
Tournaments are structured competition: paired rounds, chess clocks, and set time controls. The format, sections, time control, and entry fee are posted on each event's Chess67 registration page, since they can vary from event to event.
Rated vs. unrated
USCF-rated events
Official US Chess tournaments where your results count toward a US Chess rating. Rated events typically require a current US Chess membership — check the event listing for requirements.
Unrated club tournaments
Competitive games with the same structure, but results don't affect a US Chess rating. A good first step into tournament play.
